The major functions of the excretory system are to get rid of waste and intake the drugs that you take and cleanse your body if intaken too much.
ü Describe how the structure of a nephron provides an advantage on its function. The nephron is responsible for the formation of the urine. The sturcture allows time for things to exchange and change things before they exit the body. If proteins, calcium, or water have to go back in the body, they can without hesitation and done quickly while the they're still moving through the long nephron.
